about

Last report from the now lost Terran spaceship, Magnus Prime:
"Sigma Rubicon-VII has always been a mystery to our navigators - a star system ruled by a red giant, Arcturus Noctae, seemingly unavailable to the presence of life; yet we have been constantly receiving transmissions and coded data from the system quadrant. Information gathered by our explorer drones are consistent with the findings of our probes: there is no possibility of biological life on planets either close or far to Arcturus Noctae. Still, this conclusion is not in line with the data collected by our quantum receptor units, which are showing regular planetar electrical discharge patterns that are very reminiscent of neuronal activity of a regular Terran brain. We have concluded that something strange is going on and we were to contact the Tech-lords of Terra before any action is made. Unfortunately, we were unable to do so, since the orbiter-frequencies have been jammed by the systematically increasing electrical activity coming from one of the planets in the system. We have decided to explore the situation on the planet ourselves and gather as much as data as possible. Off the record: in my personal opinion...it seems like one of the planet in this system is alive...I don't know how to explain it, but in the lack of a better way of stating it - I think this entire planet is some sort of an...artificial brain."
